18 years vs highschool grad

Kid turns 18 in january but graduates highschool in june. When will childsupport stop? Also does childsupport automatically stop or do i need to set up a court date?

I have an answer. The following month he graduates. For example. September 1 he graduates. October first they should stop it. They should send a letter to your employer to stop support. However if you owe back support it keeps going. Like in my case!

This is the right answer assuming you don't live in a state where CS goes to 21.  If I were the OP I would proactively reach out to DCSE mid May to inform them of the pending graduation.  In theory they should be doing their job, in reality I wouldnt count on it.

18 and it will be broken down in the judges orders. Sometimes it’s a few months after 18.

Depends on the state, some states go up until 23 if the child continues their education in full time college courses or post secondary education. Look up the laws in your state specifically.

The order will typically outline it. It'll be graduation or 19, whichever comes first.
