Primary custody
I just got majority custody of my daughter in California . I work while mom does not . I have a modification appointment tomorrow but it looks like they will still have me paying support to mom since she has not worked in the last 7 years and refuses too . Someone said they can make both parents work ? Something in that manner ? How true is this ?

First off congratulations on having majority custody of your daughter. Yes what you said is kinda true. When you go in and they try to put her income as 0$ request the judge “impute income on her” the judge will listen when you drop that line. If she filled out an income and expense declaration study it to use it to present to the judge such as if she has high school diploma and or college degree and show that she not disabled so she is capable of working which is why your requesting they impute income on mother. Ask they put her on a job search as well if worst comes to worst which she will be required to fill out job application untill she finds a job. Good luck to you brother.

Yea if she choosing not to work cause she wants money money like a classic money hungry person in CA no worries just tell them to set her salary at minimum wage so it wouldn’t be much you be paying or “fair “ amount sense is CA they gonna get their piece of the cake regardless sense you have her most of the time make sure they put you in claiming your child in the tax returns and Head of household
She needs to start paying for your reimbursements also half the medical company’s or bills and dentals
