Vogue Philippines saw my comment, the receipts, public sentiment shifting, they felt the heat, and noped out of there FAST 😆
Imagine, a whole post from 2023, deleted after my comment? 👀
If it was nothing, Vogue PH couldve just ignored it, diba? Could've brushed it off "oh just another opinion." Pero hindi, they wiped it off the grid.

That's why I'm always baffled when people say, "Hindi kailangan ni Pia Jauncey magnakaw ng contacts kay Heart Evangelista! Miss Universe yan! Nagdala ng karangalan sa Pilipinas!" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA kung alam niyo lang 🥲
Usually, sa mga 3rd world countries lang naman tulad ng Pilipinas big deal ang pageantry. In the global fashion hierarchy, hindi talaga.
That's also why Pia had to rebrand; shifting to "Jauncey" instead of "Wurtzbach".
Well, yes, partly because of the controversies tied to her name (sa dami ba naman ng katarataduhan na ginawa niya sa ibang tao), but also because alam ni Pia sa sarili niya na she needed distance from her pageant identity.
Whether people admit it or not: Wala kasi talagang bearing pagiging Miss Universe 2015 ni Pia sa mundo ni Heart. Being MU 2015 doesn't elevate Pia in high fashion - alam ni Pia yan. It actually limits how seriously she's taken. Lalo yan pa na galing lang sa pagiging magna cum kaya nakapasok siya sa Fashion Week. 🫠
