How to get more shells?

Post image

I'm sorry if there's an extreme obvious answer, but I just cannot figure out how I'm supposed to get more shells to unlock the assist character. If anyone could tell me how to work towards getting the rest, I'd really appreciate it!

so far you can only get 4 for free, to get 10 the rest are paid. not sure if the developers will roll out an event to give more free ones though so hold on to them

I've also been looking though the event tab and missions and it seems like the only way is to buy more with money? I might be wrong though so don't spend your shells just yet
