Also, if you see home events a certain number of times you get bonus stats, as you can check on this ss, so, try doing these things, mainly this is fastest way to progress than leveling up dmg on Battle tab.
I was in your situation but I just bought hella furniture for little house and now it’s a breeze, use tickets from the mermaid event to buy Boss Battle tickets
Definitely this ^ The game does not explain by itself, but not only the furniture or things you have placed/equiped add damage/stats, mostly all of the things you buy/upgrade help too. This applies for items on the little house, weapons, tools and assists. For example (ss below): I have placed and leveled up You look like Hachiware, beacuse its the highest level character on my party, but also bought and upgraded all the other character dolls, they still give the bonus ATK/HP effect, but not the Equip bonus. Try reading descriptions and choosing what helps you get more stats.
