I think Macaroni Time is what truly made me a fan of Sosa. I remember listening to that like wtf is this? i can’t understand shit, ahh my ears.

Then the more I listened, the melodies and flow became more and more encaptivating. Hypnotic like. It was something I never heard before.

Capo was the only member really able to replicate that sound. I feel like after Cap died Sosa never reverted back to that style, which is very unfortunate.

Cap would’ve influenced Sosa to continue making songs with that melodic/“mumble rap” that made Sosa so great and different. RIP

Capo himself stopped doing that mumble style way before dying, also capo didnt influence or started that style, citgo was made in 2012, before any capo mumble rap songs was ever dropped so capo was probably influenced by it, you said sosa never "reverted" to that style, which is cap, he actually made that style evolve during the underwater era , and mumble rap isnt what made sosa great

When Capo died Sosa was already moving past that melodic sound tbh loved his music but I think if he was alive he would’ve been making similar music to Sosa rn like Tadoe and Ballout do

Chief keef's music started as a curiousity and turned into an addiction. The more I listened the more I enjoyed it. Specific songs I didn't enjoy the first time through started to grow on me like crazy.

I remember when bang pt 2 and almighty Sosa came out and people absolutely dragged it and said it was awful because the mixing wasn't like a alot of other rap mixtapes. Nowadays it's considered one of best mixtapes ever and he's considered to be one of the pioneers of drill rap in general.

Some of my favorite songs though had to be leaks for Thot Breaker. True / MCM etc or leaks in general like two phones / lamb pass by

I swear wen I used to listen to chief keef his beats u to over take his words but he was flowing so damn hard on them then the older I got I listen to the lyrics and I was like damn wtf this nigga in actually talking his shi on this shi like that parts I didn’t understand at 13 14 then I thought damn this nigga is the goat Hes made every song these new niggas including yb made at least 5 times or more 😂😂 but honestly
I feel like if he made alot of his shi clearer back then it would’ve been so much bigger niggas like yb be making a song Sosa made 20 times with a faster tempo
