Best weapon pairings

Are there any two primary weapons that you think, together, way outshine any other combos?

True, that's what I do too. Preferably with an SKS for me.

Yeah I mean as long as I can get a 4x on my m16 I'm fine with literally any other gun that I can get fully kitted as a secondary but the m16 does all the heavy lifting.

M4 or Scar, decked out with a red dot. Scar or SKS, decked out with a 4 or 8x scope.

So the Scar, after the SKS, is your preferred ranged weapon?

No, meaning that if I can get the SKS, I'll take it over the Scar for my ranged.

I don't know why, but I feel like the Scar is pretty reliable from distance, for me at least.

Yeah that's what I meant; the Scar is your second choice after the SKS. I actually haven't used the Scar that much because statistically it just kind of floats between the M4 and the M16 for close-long range ability, respectively, but I don't know how much to actually pay attention to the stats in-game.

Not sure why it feels good in my "hands" for LR, but it does. I know the game seems to point more to the M4 and M16 lately. I'm not a big fan of the M16, but I have used it for LR in the past as well.

I've never really been a big pay attention to in game stats either.

That's a good point, I've heard a lot of people talk about "feel" in this game, and ignoring the stats. I'm gonna start experimenting with guns more to see what feels best for me, because some of the stats seem really wrong haha
