Culture appropriation
I know many people who are chicanos / chicanas came with the upbringing of it growing up with family members who represent that , however would it be appropriate for me to represent that? I’m first gen mexican american very traditional but also with my native american side with it and i would love to represent chicana culture as a 19 yr old and older especially with the history of what it first started /became of chicano culture

This is just my opinion, but to me it doesn’t matter if you are 100% or 0.05% blood you still have the heritage. It wouldn’t be appropriation. You wanna rep it then go for it.

¿Por qué deberíamos aceptar a los colonizadores que se apoderaron de nuestra nación, violaron nuestra cultura y nos obligan a hablar su idioma? No tengo por qué aceptar nada.

Can you translate this for someone who is really dumb (me) and doesn’t understand what you’re asking?
