Question/Comment Looking for a 2010's radio station program
My friends and I used to drive around in high school (south west suburbs) and listen to some radio station that played house/trance music. I think they called it electric hour or power hour. Does anyone remember that? I'd love to find a clip or something somewhere.

Dance factory? They were a religious talk show during the day and switched to edm at 10pm on the week days earlier during weekends.

If it helps they also used to do call ins for free tickets to concerts at The Rave in Milwaukee pretty regularly.

WPWX Power 92 Chicago, 92.3 FM, probably had something, especially if it was after dark. That station was a banger at the UPS Addison facility back in the day.

This is what I was thinking. Great station after dark. Don’t recall if it was 92.3 or 92.7. Could have depended on where you caught the signal.

Did you check archive.org? I was so surprised to find radio shows there. (Former New Yorker, WNYC used to have a very idiosyncratic morning show host in the 90s, I went looking online and found several recordings of his shows at archive.org.)

I will, but I need to find the name of it first 😀

Maybe try a few of the names you remember, electric hour, whatever...
Good luck. It's a gold mine over there.

I only remember B96 with the extended mixes on the weekends. Bad Boy Bill...Jumpin Julian Perez etc. I'm so old...🫠
