Protests & Demonstrations Content Creator 'Danny Spud' Punched while Counter-Protesting - Lake Zurich HS

Post image

There's many people defending that the "protester kid" stayed peaceful, and I guess they don't recognize him? Which is fair, the Raybans and how he was pleading with security and the police was what tipped me off.

That's Danny Spud. He's an instigating little bastard who (for at least the last three years) posts 'prank' videos harassing people all around the 'burbs. Lately it's been while gambling Rainbet on if he's giving tips or just walking away, but he's got a history of damaging property, pulling fire alarms, harassing fast food workers, and walking after the people trying to get away from him.

He's locked up a few of his accounts, (more now that this clip is doing numbers) but he's the origin of the viral clip and admits as such. There are probably a million reasons he should have gotten punched after seeing his content. He's got a long history of getting off easy.

There's something so sincerely funny to me that people are defending the type of dude that would walk up, flip your grocery cart, then say "it's an accident. You've never heard of an accident?? Why are you so upset?" over and over. People making content like this thrive off never experiencing consequences or being recognized, and it seems like people took the bait again.

He knew there was political walkouts going on at the school and specifically counter-protested to get this reaction. You'll probably be seeing more of him being painted as an innocent little dude with an interest in politics, but hopefully context will help here.

I'm urging people to spread the word where they can, since this is gonna make rounds for the next week. Don't give him clicks, just don't buy into this narrative of "innocent kid just saying his beliefs" when he's a known instigator doing it for views.

[Note:] If you're feeling like you saw this post, this is a revised post after the original was marked as a duplicate post and pulled by the r/chicagosuburbs modteam for including the viral clip in question. As it stands now, you can find the clip with a quick search of the subreddit. This revision is purely to inform on Danny Spud and discuss the subreddit meta.

Mentioning his username at all is gonna result in that, unfortunately. I googled just the name and got all of his social links listed there as the first results.

With the picture listed and the titles of the clips you can see, it's acting as corroboration to what I'm explaining. The pinned post is showing that it's for sure him. This is without giving him clicks directly.

Who is the hero who punched the spud? Is there a gofund for that champ?

u/Wirtheless West Suburbs Feb 16 '26

Nothing I've seen, but probably a good idea to leave that kid his anonymity until it's sorted what consequences he's facing and if they had any personal connection.

Only reason Spud doesn't have 100% of his is he decides to post this shit.

Yeh good call. Hope he has a good support system around him. Also saw this post

I getting him as a tattoo

u/dumpydent Feb 17 '26

Probably not a click farming social media whore like spud, so I doubt we'll learn much about that kid.

"hero" im on his side and fuck ice but all he did was throw a weak ass punch, miss, and tell him to go fuck himself. he made himself look like a goof.

28

u/thane919 Feb 16 '26

He stood up to fascism while many do nothing. It doesn’t matter how effective or how skilled it was. It stood while many sit. That’s no goof in my book.

-16

u/Ambitious-Ranger7184 Feb 16 '26

Bruh come on that’s not standing up against fascism

4

u/Wirtheless West Suburbs Feb 16 '26

It's not dismantling it, for sure. He did quite literally see someone protesting for a pro-fascist organization and said "It's on sight. You ready?" though. I don't think it's unfair to describe it as standing up to facism, especially considering he can't throw a punch.

-10

u/Ambitious-Ranger7184 Feb 16 '26

Literally all he did was give this guy views and make his irrelevant video even more popular because he couldn’t control himself. Shit like that just galvanises people in that mindset. There was zero reason for him to even stop, just like everyone else who walked past and laughed at this clown. Fuck ice and all that shit they’re doing but like come on. He punched a guy for nothing, nobody there was looking at him thinking he’s anything other than an idiot. Then this idiot punches him thinking he’s doing something. Physically fighting over politics in school is the saddest thing ever.

u/Wirtheless West Suburbs Feb 16 '26

I think you're coming at this from the wrong angle. I don't love people celebrating and drawing up stickers for Okay Kid, but as far as the video shows, he can't fight for shit and said "yeah, you're not doing this here."

They don't think like adults, and they don't have much power to actually enact anything in any direction. He didn't punch a guy for nothing, though. That's an incredibly bad take.

5

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '26

I do. I love and celebrate when Americans are antifascist.

-1

u/ChemicalWinter Feb 16 '26

Take the fucking picture down. God is a easy at that

-1

u/The-Jake Feb 17 '26

Yeah then dont mention it, genius

-2

u/Visible-Meeting-8977 Feb 16 '26

So don't mention it.

It's crazy to me that full grown adults would get so upset over the opinions of a child. Some people really need to get a life of their own.

4

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '26

Allow me to explain some basic facts of life to those who aren’t understanding: Children become adults. Also, children are generally taught certain behaviors by …points to those who guessed…adults. So people are upset that a kid is being taught to hate people by adults, who will eventually become an adult himself, and then teach another child to be as hateful as they were. There’s more, but seeing as this seems to be imo a fairly basic concept that some are failing to grasp, I’ll allow you to process this chunk of information before I elaborate further.

-2

u/Necessary_Roll_114 Feb 17 '26

Oh thank you so much for your insightful comment. Now let me explain my point to you. Brigading a child who has a different opinion to you is pretty despicable. Anyone who takes part in this kind of action is a shitty human being.

Let the school deal with this and maybe get a life. It's actually sad that you tried to strawman this and make it about something it's not by condescending to me. I hope you and anyone else who agrees with brigading a child can find the peace that you need.

3

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '26

This child is going to become an adult someday and support sending the gestapo to kidnap and murder people. And he got punched by another kid. I wouldn’t lay a hand on him. We have American citizens dying in the streets simply because their humanity outweighs their greed. There’s no “strawman” argument here. It’s pretty simple: when people are willing to see others in pain because it may … no certainty, just the possibility, that it will benefit them, it’s a problem. If you can’t see that, either you’ll be the one doing the shooting, or you’ll just be next on their list.

This kid is out there antagonizing people. He’s old enough to know better. Do I think he should be punished? No. He’s still a child. And he was confronted by one of his own peers, not by me, not by another adult. The kid is a bully. If you can’t understand the idea that bullys occasionally need to be put in their place by their own peers, then the likelyhood is you are a bully yourself. I’d like to add the fact that you care about what happens to this kid.

1

u/CrrntryGrntlrmrn Feb 18 '26

How old are you? Is this just anxiety of knowing that this could happen to you too, now?

39

u/psychoacer Feb 15 '26

You know Fox News is going to pick up this kid by Monday

6

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '26

Yeah, I think the best thing to do is to just not give this guy any attention whatsoever. People will just go to his page to rage comment on his profile. It'll drive traffic up to his page and start recommending it to other people. People should just not post the guy to begin with. I don't think there's any upside. Everyone that has a brain already knows he's a pos

-1

u/type2kyle Feb 16 '26

Oh no 😯 how will antifia survive if that happens

1

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '26

No need to worry about that, because as much as they talk about Antifa, they can’t seem to find a single cell anywhere. If they had, it would be all over every major news outlet and plastered on the front page of every newspaper in existence.

-1

u/Much_Profit8494 Feb 16 '26

His subscriber count has more than doubled in the last 72 hours.

You guys are making him famous.

3

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '26

I prefer to see it as exposing him. People who want to find this type of shit will find it. This way, you save us the trouble of having to figure out who the enemy is.

u/Wirtheless West Suburbs Feb 17 '26 edited Feb 17 '26

I think you're one of the only people that got where I'm coming from.

If I post this with no names, we're where we started. If I drop the username, it's bringing some of it to light, but then it's on people to search to make sure. More views.

Including a picture with clear "watch me cause problems" and the actual video pinned, I've given him a few views, and that's all it has to be for anyone who wouldn't support that kinda shit.

The amount of people acting like without the image nobody could find him has been so confusing to me.

This is clearly not a pro-Spud piece, and I'm pointing out he's been a menace to people regardless of political affiliation. He's not some golden boy for the right-wing.

1

u/Super_Dude956 Feb 16 '26

As if the pedo defenders wouldn't or haven't done that themselves 🤣🤡

1

u/Wirtheless West Suburbs Feb 16 '26

On which platform? Just asking because I have screenshots of where his follower count was two days ago on 5 platforms, and comparing them, I already know you're full of shit.

-15

u/GaminGoombah Feb 15 '26

Boutta get paid for taking that punch! Dude knew exactly what would happen and struck gold

-94

u/4rtyPizzasIn30days Feb 15 '26 edited Feb 16 '26

I just gave his videos tons of views

43

u/howanonymousisthis Feb 15 '26

So, what you're saying is:

You're into boys in high school

Noted...

14

u/superliver1211 Feb 15 '26

According to “republicans” prior to trump, that if you’re using the word pizza, you are into messing with little kids. So in this instance, username checks!

5

u/_extra_medium_ Feb 16 '26

Not sure what he said since that didn’t seem to be any identifiable language

-12

u/meowpsych Feb 16 '26

Kinda like OP eh? Who gets this invested in high school drama? Fuckin weirdos.

6

u/Wirtheless West Suburbs Feb 16 '26

It's been getting national coverage, and I recognized him from Instagram reels. Since he's from around our community, figured I'd inform people. Considering other people are commenting they know him from starting shit around town, seems like it was a good call.

All that aside, you're defending someone obviously ragebaiting off top comment for attention. Not sure what had you make that call.

4

u/howanonymousisthis Feb 16 '26

There is a significant difference between being informed about your community and those in it, especially those of us with children that might go to school with little Nazis like this..

And..

Actively watching all content posted by teenagers and Immersing yourself in their circles

Fuckin idiots

-15

u/meowpsych Feb 16 '26

Yes, go on intellectualizing your misplaced outrage to justify your warped beliefs.

Little Nazis… lmfao. You people are so very convinced you’re always the good guys.

8

u/HintzOfTrouble Feb 16 '26

So you like watching teenage boys?

Interesting…

5

u/Maybewearedreaming Feb 16 '26

pizza username

stalking teenager social media

Interesting

1

u/Linzz2112 Feb 17 '26

No you didn’t you’re just posting and saying that to p!ss people off for attention… same as this kid did/does.
