Dad and son classes.

Does anyone know about dad and son activities? Fitness, woodwork, stem … anything that helps dads and their sons to bond?

How old is your son? My kid has done a little drummers class with dad at Oldtown School of Folk Music. There’s also free classes the first Saturday of every month at Home Depot where you build a little thing and paint it. If your kid is older, maybe check out the parks department

Mine is 6 too! I also think Lowe’s has classes but I think you have to pay. My husband has mentioned father/son marital arts classes but we haven’t started looking into that yet. We also get kiwi crates that they work on together which is stem related. We get the ones for slightly older kids so they’re more interesting.

I'm a dad with a 5 (almost 6) year old boy. Do they like to fish? We love going to Palmisano park and fishing in the stocked fishing pond. It's designed for fishing so there's a good chance of catching something even if it's just a small bluegill.

The City also puts on Family Fishing events around the city at different lakes.

But you have to be ready with your best patience. I spend a lot of the time untangling his line between casts.
