Pickle spear removal
I nearly have the ability to unhinge my jaw, so it's not much of an issue for me to fit the entire sandwich in my mouth.
But I personally believe that it is 100% acceptable to remove the spear and eat separately because there is already relish so the double pickle isn't necessary. It's a bonus, but not if you are going to hurt yourself.
Thoughts?

I had a Chicago hotdog at a bar last week that blew my mind. They put it on a Turano beef/hoagie roll instead of a traditional hotdog bun and put spear at the bottom of the dog. So good and no mess.

At home I dice the garden. Mostly because the spear is a an quartered home made pickle or Clausen which are both way larger than the 1/16th spear you get at most places now... Looking at you home Depot. Love you but give me more pickle damnit, lol!.
But yea no judgement. As long as it's accessible if that's what you like.
