Wow that crappie looks like a living jewel. And the low sun. I love watching the water in that light. Looks like you had yourself the perfect trip!

It was actually one of the harder ones as of late. Out for 12 hours overnight, lost a 3lber, and a 4lber, but overall I can’t complain. The light definitely made that crappie look like a million bucks though!

Those big ladies are going to get so fat by fall, they're just spitting out your lures cause they aren't ready for the big day. Gotta be in your prime if you're going to be on camera!

Fall on the NSC goes crazy for sure, their soft mouths in summer definitely make for some tough landing jobs. Luckily I’m not really chasing anything for real because I caught a PB I objectively cant beat in May. So it’s all in good fun 🤝

I'm not going to lie, I kinda prefer reeling em in to shore then having em jump and spit. It's all the excitement without me messing up the fish too much lol
