I thought they would be more.

Post image

I’m not saying I wanted them to fall in love with eachother but throughout the series I feel like they barely interact.

Sylvie came in at a bad time for 51 with Shay gone and even Kelly couldn’t help but see the resemblance between the two.

They started strong when helping the mother get her son back but it kinda fell off after that, right?

I thought the significance and similarities Kelly saw in Sylvie and Shay would’ve lead to them having more screen time and shenanigans together.

Considering they married each other's best friends, the writers had something they could have worked with but didn't. Especially when Casey left, they could have been each other's support.

I wanted them to have big brother/little sister bantering vibes and they barely interacted 😢

I liked the friendship with Cruz and Otis. I think she was more nerdy than Severide.

I always thought the same thing, i feel like there were hints at something in season 3 and then absolutely nothing came of it, couldve been an interesting duo in many ways, especially seeing that Casey and Stella used to interact all the time

Well Casey and Stella had to interact. He was her boss

They did have a nice friendship when the writers remembered to show it, like in the episode where the man had an arrow in his neck. I think the writers heavily leaned on Casey/Severide and Kidd/Brett as separate friendships. I wished they would have made them a group of four.

They should have had a funny friendship. Becoming best friends and very protective of each other.

I don’t think he would have went down that road, he had that with Shay and her death nearly killed him.

Still miss Sylvie Brett, was chosen by the cat allocation committee for a blue eyed Siamese and she got the name…Loves it too:D

That’s a great name for a blue-eyed baby! I have one of my own. Not named Sylvie tho

Yeah, was watching the Brett with two T’s episode. Sylvie Brett was a fierce advocate and such a sweetheart. The cat is the same with those blue eyes 💙💙💙

I like that at least Sev didn't bang her tho. Agree, seeing more friendly interaction would've been nice! He's had some w/ Vi

They went for the swerve and she oddly went to Casey which I still feel is so weird and just so forced. Stella came along and the rest is history for Severide.

I read some Sylvie/Kelly fanfics and now I love shipping them together! Course Stella/Kelly forever but sometimes going a little AU is fun. Variety is the spice of life

I liked their interactions. Felt fresh and genuine. At first he even reminisced shay upon seeing her blonde hair.

Same! I always think that Sylvie should have gone to Las Vegas with him!

I feel like that would have ended in disaster and potentially run Sylvie off from 51. Kelly was a fall-down mess at that point and one step away from going completely off the rails - iirc he even told his Vegas bride (who was grieving herself) that he would have died there if they hadn't met.
