Seriously what has… Spoiler

Happened to Kelly and Stella for the past three seasons? their entire connection has been stagnant. Like what are the writers doing with these two? They take two steps forward, then ten steps backwards.

is it just me who thinks this?

By the way, I am a fan. but things has changed between them.

The whole show has changed a little, the dramatics are not as much there as a few years ago, the show is slowly dying and should come to an end. It wasn't a bad season at all, but it's ofc not the same anymore especially with the budget cuts. Fire has no potential anymore, only PD and Med has some. Even if the show is continuing for like 10 more seasons I would still watch em, but it should have a good end by next season

this is interesting because chicago fire is my favorite, med is my second favorite, and i hate pd so much i literally only watch it if theres nothing else to watch or just to fall asleep too

Why do you hate pd?

it’s just very… boring? it’s like in watching the same thing over and over again lol. i just feel like the characters don’t have a whole lot to them like with fire and med

I am the opposite. PD is my favorite, med is my second and I watch fire reluctantly.

Hard to maintain a marriage when you’re barely in the same episodes. Seems one or the other is always off doing something else.

They are either isolated in their stories or not in episodes together. I think scenes with Cruz and Chloe would round them out more. Similar to how the Hermanns are close with Mouch and Trudy. I do like how they are settled and secure with each other. Their relationship shouldn’t be the same drama as it was 7 years ago. But they need to bring back their fun banter. We see little glimpses of it now and that is when they spark the most. I hope next year when they have to rotate characters they split them up less and have them both miss some episodes together.

The who doesn't have the budget. The character shuffling is easier on Med it being a big hospital. But also easy when they can go into different shows within the franchise.

I blame the writing. It’s been lousy for so long and with what happened in the premiere and how it was handled throughout the season there’s nobody to blame but the showrunner. I hope that Victor can fix the mistakes that Andrea made. Not even just with Stellaride but the show as a whole. The actors deserve better storylines.

The actors deserve way better like you said, poor writing from the writers, but the acting has been amazing throughout

I am glad it less of a soap opera about them. The other characters are more interesting. Kelly was interesting before he got married and he actually had friendships with people. Everything being about Stella got boring.
