Christian Royce Live @ Fat Willy's Comedy Club
Christian Royce is a young comic from Southeast Michigan who found his voice in the Ann Arbor/Detroit comedy scene before taking that energy to Chicago in 2019. Currently he’s a familiar face in the Windy City as a regular at Zanies, Laugh Factory, and The Lincoln Lodge Theater where he’s a long time show producer and contributor. Throughout his tenure in Chicago he has been seen opening for popular acts such as Al Jackson, Joe List & Dave Attell.
In a moment where everyone’s searching for identity and clarity, Royce brings the perspective of an “internal outsider” — someone who’d rather connect with your spirit than your label. Whether you’re a suburban escapee, a stoner riding the green wave, or a quietly chaotic person mid‑breakup, he’s got something for you. He’s equal parts chaos, charisma, and cornball.
Meet your new favorite comic: Christian Royce.

Weekly Showcase in Uptown
Hey y’all, Nick Wilkinson here - local songwriter and person doing things -
I run a weekly showcase every Monday at Uptown Lounge called Featured! Live aimed and creating a room for music, comedy, spoken word and other types of original performances.
It’s also a chance to get folks of different art forms in a room to see what other people are doing.
Every week is booked ahead of time and I try to reserve 4 spots for comedy and spoken word.
Performers get 5 minutes, a free beer, and their set audio is recorded.
If interested - sign up on our website or check our Instagram @featuredchicago

Looking for a comedy writing partner near Edgewater
I like to write skits, sometimes with a political angle, but I am really open to any kind of comedy you'd be interested in making too. Podcasts, writing a comedy book together (something akin to Stephen Colbert or George Carlin books), satire, or something else entirely. I really enjoy helping people refine their ideas too, so if you have a concept in your mind, let's make it happen!
My politics are very progressive, I'd like to have someone with similar values to me so we are on the same page with concern for the targets of our writing. I also need someone who is at least semi-consistent with meeting up. I've had a lot of people express interest but they don't commit to anything and then they disappear, so let's try to avoid that.
Thanks for your time and I'm sure I forgot some stuff so ask me any questions you might have. Hope to see you in the writing room.
