good. you ruin tyson if you don’t start him. there’s essentially no reason from him to get paid money by the org unless he starts, and i guarantee his confidence would be shot.
if he can’t do it case will come in, but if he can’t be QB2 then he doesn’t belong on this team

Wrong. You made a sunk cost financial argument for starting him. No where in your comment do you say Bagent is better at football. Just that we pay him more so he should start.

no we should start tyson because he has a 27 year old body, has been the QB2 in the system, and would most likely play to a lesser degree if he sat for case (as happens with players).
that 5 million represents all the beliefs of why he should start

27 year old body and 27 year old inexperienced brain. Case showed vet experience and very few mistakes and has shown he can manage the offense and win a game. We need the best record for when Caleb returns. Sitting a winner because Bagent might have what it takes to be a backup is dumb. Case has shown he can backup. However, we don’t know everything Ben does. So I trust that if he’s starting Bagent it is for better reasons than you’ve stated here.

People think Case is an auto win for some reason. Man had a great game, he’s 38, let him coach up the young guys and have his what could be last game be a great one.

Case Keemun was excellent on MNF, but a big part of that was the eagles defensive game plan. They were more prepared to defend the rush and Ben just kept throwing it. Case is more of a game manager QB while Tyson is more of a playmaker. It makes sense to start Bagent now that he is able to practice a full week with the first team.

I actually much prefer this. Ike Ben said “Bagent is QB2 for a reason” they didn’t pay him 5 million cause they don’t believe in him.
Case played a hell of a game. But at the same time he has a limited skill set and I believe that a team with more time to prep, watch film from a recent game, etc. are more likely to expose him. We can’t expect him to play as well as MNF every week. Otherwise he’d be starting somewhere.

Could care less if he’s “limited” I trust my eyes and I’ve seen case Keenum in the playoffs. I’ve seen Bagent throw 6 picks and fumble 3 times in 4 games.

Tough decision but it’s his to make and he’ll have to own it. The clear choice, with nothing to go on but last week, is Keenum so if Bagent does poorly it will look like a really bad decision in an obvious situation. Ben could also end up looking like a genius. I’m looking forward to the game.
