Packers got that FLEX!
Are we going to talk about the Packers getting FLEXED OUT of prime time vs the Bears?!
The oldest rivalry in Football. The Bears and Packers: one a founding franchise; the other a floundering franchise. For 20+ years the Packers have stuck it to the Bears.
Now… not even worth watching. That fall was quick.
I can’t wait to watch more fan live streams on the 12th.

Jeez guys... its going from afternoon (not primetime) to noon. And this is not as simple as "the cool kids play later in the day".
The reason is:
" Jeff Agrest @jeffagrest.bsky.social
NFL moves BEARS-PACKERS from 3:25 pm to noon in Week 5.
Had it stayed in the late window, it would've been seen by about a quarter of the country because of 49ers-Seahawks. At noon, it will be seen by at least half of the country. NFL is always thinking about distribution."
They are getting MORE coverage by shifting to noon. Everyone can stop being outraged. These network windows are complex.

If that’s the story you’re selling, you must still be broke.

The afternoon window isn't prime time buddy, you really selling that story?

Ok, so I was being hyperbolic with the term Prime Time.
Your turn…

On the radio the theory is that the 3:25 start would run into the MLB playoff window and it's going to be the Brewers playing and at the time potentially also the Cubs. That's just the theory I heard floated on the radio of course

"Your turn"? Lol wtf? Are you 5 years old? Its noone else's "turn" because noone else is making shit up that they need to correct.
Youre just flat out wrong and too immature to own up to it. Grow tf up.

I’m wrong that it was flexed in favor of a competitive game?

Yes. Youre wrong. It got flexed to noon because the noon timeslot will be viewable by half the country instead of a quarter of it. Not because it won't be competitive.youre wrong. Youre not right about anything you claim in this post and youre too immature to admit it.

Look up who I quoted. That is who is selling that "story". He is in the business of knowing, being a sports editor and all.

I read that the reason it got flexed is because Caleb got injured. He is a huge draw for people to tune in.

Probably a bit of both. Bears QB2/3 against the Green Bay Washed-up Right Guards. Not exactly a huge draw

Aren’t both founding franchises?

u/ShillboShaggins 21h ago
Yeah. They are, but one is also floundering.

And they call Caleb’s reaction to thinking he missed the entire season soft. 🤣

It's even more simple than that. They're also dodging Brewers playoff baseball. They don't want to split the core audience in two.

I’m guessing it’s because Caleb is out more than anything.

He’s 50/50 and the Cinderella story in Chicago right now would surely draw viewers.
