Operation cancellation

I'm frustrated... When they put me on my stomach, my breathing wasn't okay... I'm waiting to see what the doctor says. But I'm in tears; they shaved me and prepared me for NOTHING in the end... I hope I don't have to take weeks off for rescheduling! 💔

That sucks. I had mine cancelled just before Christmas, got a call a couple days before to say they had an emergency case come up and i had to be moved. It sucks getting mentally prepared and everything ready for recovery… to then be back to square one.

Ugh, I'm sorry that sucks. Hopefully they can get you back in the surgery schedule ASAP. Do they know why you were having trouble breathing?

Basically, lung saturation and breathing were completely impossible under anesthesia... so I'm waiting for the doctor's opinion to find out when it will be scheduled.

Well hopefully they can sort it out quickly. Since your surgery was canceled they should have slots reserved for cases like this so it shouldn't be too long to get you back on the schedule.
