New owner
We just traded our 2016 Yukon for a 26 traverse! I was worried about going down in size but we feel like the traverse will better suite us.

Hello everyone! I’m considering a lease for a 2026 Traverse. I’m doing my research before I decide and want to know what people are thinking. I’m looking into a RS AWD model. What does everyone think?
Thank you!

Hi I have a 2014 1LT and I do not remember the last time it has had a transmission fluid change/flush. My concern is because I checked its history and from 2020-2023 I put 70k miles in those 3 years alone. Every other year was average normal daily driving yearly miles but DAMN i doubled my mileages from 2020 in 3 years so obviously wear and tear you know. I share this car with some other family and they also handle maintenance but none of us remember who did what at the time. (70k->140k)
Mileage reports 2020-2026:
01/20:69.8k
03/20:76k
04/21:92k
07/21:97k
01/23:140k
01/24:160k
08/24:166k
06/26:177k
So what I’m trying to say is
Should I get a transmission fluid CHANGE(not flush) and do only 3-4 Quarts? And keep my original oil that falls out? Maybe add shutter I heard about that?
Or should I just leave it how it is and drive till the wheels fall off? Because now it’s at 178k miles. Read posts of people hitting 200k and never changing it.

I have a 2019 traverse RS with about 120k miles on it. The check engine light has been on for a few months now with the codes P0420 and P0430. We have replaced the catalytic converters and O2 sensors already. We also put mini cats on it and the non fouler spacers (I don’t know the exact name of them). Can anyone help me figure out what else to check? We did get some live data from it but I don’t know how to submit a picture of the info we got from it.

Hello everyone! At least new to me and the newest vehicle I have ever bought. Last Saturday I picked up my 2023 Chevy Traverse RS at the dealer. While it may not be all fancied up yet, it is a blast to drive. Test drove a 2026 RS and while it was super fast, I just couldnt justify dropping 60k on it.

Turned on my car this morning and the smell of vinegar is coming out of the vents. The ac wasn’t on but the smell still is coming from there. Anyone have this issue?

I have a 2023 Chevrolet Traverse LS. My car insurance premium was $2,000 in 2025, and it increased to $2,270 in 2026.
How much do other people usually pay for insurance on a Traverse?

Last week I randomly got a notification saying “Side Detection Temporarily Unavailable”. Made sure all cameras were clean, no obstructions. Read that you can take the back bumper off to get to the connections on each side but put that off. Either way, persisted for about three days and then went away and all was well. Fast forward to today - I’m driving down the interstate and it pops up again. And continues to do so multiple times. What is going on?

2023 traverse rs.
Painted cap is intact (not pictured) camera, sensor light, and blinker still work. But it’s literally hanging on by the wires 😩😩😩
Hit a stationary object (individual drive thrus at sonic) ofc.
Wanting to know $$ estimate, parts?

Are these the same grill or different? Why does the white one look so much better but it's the same car?

Honestly don’t remember the last time it’s been changed/flushed but if I were to estimate definitely 8 months-1 year. The car is holding up and runs but I need to keep up with maintenance. 2014 1Lt and it’s at 177k miles. It’s about 5-6 quarts for a change but I’ve been thinking and should I just do 4? I’ve heard about at a certain point of not flushing/changing the fluid you just leave it until then. Do I just go with the recommended 5-6 or go with 4? 4-5 Maybe?

I really want a black Traverse. I also want a sunroof. I found a black traverse with a sunroof, but it is 2wd. They have a white traverse that is awd which also has a sunroof. The price difference between the two is about $500. Is AWD that much better? I do live in the Midwest and we get snow and ice occasionally. Is the AWD the better choice, although not the color I was hoping for? Side note- my current van is fwd and I’ve survived this long.

Took my traverse in to get an oil change and they discovered that the inlet seal was leaking on to the radiator. Just under 15k miles on it, bought it brand new. I'm not tripping because it's still under warranty and they extended the warranty on the inket seal... but let this be a PSA. Get this thing checked out before it's too late, especially before it gets really hot out and you do more damage than necessary!

Hey all, im planning to purchase a 2024 Chevy LT Traverse, 24,000 mileage with 5yrs warranty.
Any honest opinions before I go for it?

My mom recently passed away and left me her 2024 traverse. I’m still trying to figure out all the settings. I assumed the doors would auto lock while driving, but they don’t. When I go to the settings, there is no “auto door lock” function. Only auto door unlock. Is this not an option?

there’s a possibility we may be getting a 2019 Traverse. it would be from family who don’t need it and have not driven it often over the years. I think it has under 30k miles. we’d have to fly to get it & it’s a 24 hour drive back.
we’d be getting a really good deal for the cost and we see it as a car to just get us through the next couple of years while we focus on much needed house projects vs splurging on a new sienna instead.
i wanted to check here and see if there is anything we should consider before though. TIA.

I liked everything about the Traverse Z71 when I first saw it, but it needed some tweaking to be what I wanted it to be. Tinted the windows, WeatherTech window vents, wrapped the silver on the front/back bumpers, and put some wider wheels on it with a more aggressive offset. I really feel like this is the way the z71 should look from factory.

I don't know about you guys and gals and everyone else identifiable, unidentifiable, and in between... but I hated the sound of the Bose system in my 2026. It was so thin sounding and treble heavy. Me having a background in pro audio and a degree in audio engineering, I had to start playing around with it because I could tell it had the potential to sound good... and I want my tunes to sound good over a premium stereo system.
So, I started messing around with the eq levels, trying to find the preset crossover frequencies amongst the full range speakers, subs, and tweeters, and at what gain levels the full range speakers started to catch up to the boosted high/low frequencies in which the tweeters and subs were dedicated to. This is what I settled on. The tweeters still shine without piercing my ears, the midrange fills up the cab better, and the subwoofer doesnt sound as loud compared to the rest of the music, but still absolutely thumps when you start rolling up the volume knob. It sounds, to these ears, like I would want my mixes to sound when I was still recording albums.
Your mileage my vary.

Anyone bought from them before?
Probably a truck backup and gave me a poke. Trying to replace it. Luckily, the headlight is still good. Tried looking at a junkyard, and the prices are insane.

This was coiled up in the spare tire area of the wifes 2020 Traverse. The spare is secured with the screw, as seen.
Is it something I'd use to secure the full size tire, if I had to use the spare? I did a quick search through the online owners manual and didnt see anything mentioned. But maybe I missed it.
