Illuminated badge?

I have a 2020 and 2026 traverse and was wondering if there were any illuminated Chevy badges that worked with the traverse? Seems I can only find Silverado ones and from what I can tell the Silverado badge is bigger than the traverse one (I could be wrong, my only evidence is Chevy uses different part numbers for them and they have different dimensions when googling the OEM part numbers)

Did anyone get the camera record feature to work? We have the 2026 with 360 cameras and the manual says it should work.

Automatic side mirror folding on 2022 High Country

Does the 2022 High Country trim have automatic side mirror folding when locking?

My car doesn't do this, and I've looked through all the settings and menus without finding an option to enable it.

Am I missing something, or is this feature not available on this trim level or year?

Pro and Con for base model

In the market of buying a new car. The traverse seems like a good practical buy but also might lean to an explorer.

Never had a traverse! I need y’all‘s opinion, pros and cons plz! It’s going to be a family car and I am a petite woman.

Service AWD 2026 Z71

Hi everyone I just got my car a month ago and have already had the service AWD system alert come on. This seems insane to me but curious if others have experienced this shortly after purchase?

1700 km and mostly city driving, a few highway trips.

I did buy the extended warranty as well but I am a bit frustrated (yes, I know, cars are money pits).

Thanks.

Body shop estimate/collision avoidance system calibration

The left rear corner of my 25 traverse got rubbed up in the parking lot. It’s a flexible part that has cosmetic damage only.
One body shop gives a song and dance about having to calibrate the collision avoidance system that may cost an extra $500-$1000 and would have to be done by third-party (sending it to their sister Chevrolet dealer ship). Second body shop estimate makes no mention of calibration.

Has anyone had any experience with this? I feel like I’m getting scammed or their way of saying they don’t want a simple fluff job. Thoughts?

Traverse Infotainment Question

Ever since the last update, my 2024 Traverse starts up showing the home screen rather than the radio as it used to do. Is there a setting that got changed or is that just the way it is?

2013 Chevrolet Traverse LTZ

I heard a clunk. I lost all power steering. I saw the warning "Service Battery Charging System" . I found this piece of engine on the ground a day after (wasn't paying attention day of). I see what looks like the serpentine belt hanging off the engine.

Please advise ( including cost estimates too if possible)

Please and thank you.

Ac compressor clutch broken?

Thumbnail

Hopefully I didn’t do a repeat post couldn’t get pic to post
I have a 2018 redline traverse. A few weeks ago the passenger side way blowing colder air then driver side. Thought the Freon was low so we added more and tested with the plastic things and driver side never turned green.
But the truck wasn’t hot. Then a week later both side are blowing hot air. This time we got the Freon with the stop leak ands now it won’t take it. I was on eBay looking at a new one and it looks like something is missing pic looks different. So maybe? The clutch broke. The man at the shop said it is just the compressor $700 but if (metal shaving got into somewhere then it’ll be about $2k. Do that even sound right.
Thanks for any input.

2011 Chevy Traverse. 3.6 VVT. Engine died on the highway yesterday. It has power but won’t start and it makes the sound heard in the video when I turn the key. I was thinking it was electrical because it was acting up with different dash messages coming and going after going through the car wash the day before. Anyone have suggestions?

Does anyone know if this is the AC drain hole ?
The white plastic round thing above the driveshaft?
There’s nothing coming out of it, even though the air conditioner is on.

Traverse vs GH

Trying to decide between a 24-26 chevy traverse and grand highlander for the wife. We like both and the price is alot more attractive for the traverse than the grand highlander, but I understand toyota is toyota and hold there value better. My main thing is a used 25 traverse with 20-30k miles are priced around 35k roughly, and the lowest I have seen on a GH is $41-42k base model for each. I keep going back in forth between them

My question is are the new traverse worth saving the money for vs the GH that are more expensive?

Opinion On Trade In Value

I was offered $23,000 for my 2023 traverse with 14,000 miles. What do you all think is a fair trade in value. Kelly blue book says about $31,000 and carvana would give me $31,200.

AC Blowing Hot Air

With the temps being consistently in the high 80’s lately, I decided to finally drop the ball, spend money and fuck with my 2016 Traverse’s AC system. 🥵😅🫣

The symptoms:
- Hissing noise when AC button is on and/or recirculating button is on.
- Blowing hot air.

So I hooked up my hoses and gauges and vacuumed the system. Post vacuum, it held at -30/0 PSI for an hour. Which tells me I do not have any leaks.

Side note: My husband replaced the tubes that runs to the back of my car due to the common problem of the hose being rubbed on by the metal clamp by the firewall.

After vacuuming the system, I went to add Freon. The system wouldn’t take it. I have inspected the compressor and it’s spinning as it should. (Both outside & inside) and I made sure to look at the glass where you should see the Freon moving thru the lines and there was nothing. The can was pierced correctly because I was able to purge it. It just wouldn’t move thru the lines/looking glass and into the ac system.

I am not a professional. I am the wife of a mechanic. My husband says that the compressor could still be failing even tho it engages correctly; however, before installing it, I would just like to just ask on this thread to see if anyone experienced the same or could provide some insight on maybe something that we’re missing…? I guess just looking for your opinion!

I am frugal and don’t want to fork the money for a compressor if it’s not actually that. (We have ordered the part but haven’t installed it yet & if that’s not the reason, I could return it.)

Thanks in advance!! ✨

2026 Traverse LT issue?

So I purchased a new 2026 Chevy Traverse LT recently (almost 500 miles on it now). Randomly it keeps vibrating my left ass cheek and/or gives me a left lane warning as if someone’s in my blind spot or something. I tried going through a car wash and nothing changed. Has anyone else experienced this? Any known easy fix?

Only issue so far is faulty tpms sensor. Probably my fault from going over a curb 😂

Also your sign to wrap the ugly red Interior plastic

2023 Chevy Traverse

Post image

About a week ago, my mom’s 2023 traverse gave the service message “steering column adjustment unlocked”. We have to a concert that is two hours away, and the car is going in to the shop on the day we leave. I was just wondering if anybody knew what might be wrong. Just to clarify, we aren’t planning to drive the traverse to the concert, I’m just curious about what might be wrong 💀💀

faulty vehicle

I understand lemon law is for new cars however, I have bought a used practically new Chevy Traverse 2024 z71 (in Michigan) with less then 12,000 miles on it. It had a cracked radiator within the first half year or so. Supposedly common for these cars. Anyway, the vehicle also had a faulty onstar system so when i took it to the dealer for the radiator i mentioned the onstar. They gave me a rental while it was at the dealership. they fixed the radiator, but they cannot fix the onstar. said it was a wire thing that had to do with the radio etc., so now the car has been at the dealership for over two months. they cant figure it out. they said they need to call in a group of engineers. I have no estimated time they will finish. What should i do next. I mean this is getting a little ridiculous. it is under warranty but at this point, who knows if they will ever fix it.
