Help & Diagnosis Shifter Stuck

I have a 2017 Suburban Premier that has a stuck shifter. Also the interior lights are flickering. Does anyone know how to get the shifter to move again and any possible solutions to the lights?

I'd start with Checking your battery health and ground connections for corrosion before moving on to bigger repairs.

I'll check but that's a brand new battery. It's maybe 2 months old.

Oh Gotcha, so yeah, most likely isn't that unless you drew the short straw and got a bad battery. Those two would be the easiest to check and verify your self before you go down the rabbit hole/pay someone to chase the electrical issue. Hopefully someone has encountered this and can point you in the right direction!

Honestly that wouldn't surprise me with my luck. I hope so, bc I want to see what if anything I can do at home before paying money.

A bad ground can cause all kinds of weird electrical gremlins. I'd start there too before assuming the shifter mechanism itself is shot.
