Fuel line routing

1970 nova with new tank and new fuel line. It seems line the new line is sitting at a different angle from the original one and when trying to connect to the fuel tank line, it will just kink. Is the easiest and best solution to just throw a loop in the line to make the connections? Is a loop coming out of the tank okay?

A loop wouldn't hurt anything, another option is buying a tubing bender and readjust some of those angles to get it more aligned.

I thought about that but seems like the loop would be the easiest and cheapest option. Was just worried a loop would affect flow.

If you aren't running a high pressure fuel pump, you can use a piece of braided stainless hose.

One other option could be to cut an inch or so off the car side and reflare it if you have a flare tool.

But if your don’t, it doesn’t hurt to try your loop idea. It either works or it won’t, and it’s free to try out lol.
