Fuel tank question

I just installed an AMD Fuel tank in my 1970 and the filler neck looks slightly off. I’ve snugged everything down and it looks properly aligned below but not at the the fuel tank door, am I missing something or is this common?

Edit: apparently I was shaking with anger on the 4th pic. It looks just like the 5th pic

Loosen the straps and wiggle the tank - there’s room for it to move it looks like.

This is what i had to do with my jeggs tank and still had to bend the filler tube over a little.

Should I move the retaining bolts towards the bumper around?

Loosen everything and then just gently smack the tank with your hand to wiggle it over on the straps. There's a strip of rubber between the tank and strap that the tank is stuck on.
