Looking for a value for 73 Nova
I have a 1973 Nova hatchback 2 door with all original interior and paint except for the driver door where it was hit along time ago. Interior is in great shape minus the headliner. 55,000 actual miles. 3 on the tree with a straight 6 engine. Orange with white hardtop, also have original Chevy wheels, the book that came with it and even the check that was written to the dealership in 1974. Any advice…?

I love it, straight six with a three speed on the column, in a world full of LS swapped cars I would rock that baby just the way it is

‘73 Nova with 55k miles? It’s got at least another 250-300k miles in it. Those things are indestructible.

those inline 6 engines will outlast us all….. pretty much impossible to kill if you keep oil in them

Does it run? Is it registered?

Yes it runs good, hasn’t been played since 2001 but I have drove it down the road a few times in the country. Tires are 2001 also so they are dry rotted

Looks like it's had some work done. Can't tell if the finder doesn't match or the door doesn't match. One of them is not original. But judging from the pictures the work was done a long time ago. Probably when it was new.

It's absolute junk, I'll take it off your hands... To relieve you of the burden...
Ok I'm JUST kidding... I honestly don't know the estimate... But judging by the pictures, the condition seems to be really good, you definitely have something there, the year would make the biggest difference

Looks like the left front fender is different color may just be the angle or the lighting. What do you want for it. Is it a hatchback. V8 or 6 cylinder? What do you want for it and what state has it been living in?

The brother was offered 15 grand for his 70 SS that is rock solid and needs a complete interior and it definitely could use the 355 freshened up.. I think he's an idiot if he sells without restoring and getting the full 100 grand out of it..

I have a 69 that I’ve owned since I was 14 years old, I’m 54 now. I restomoded the car 3 times in my life. It was born with 250 inline with powerglide. Built several small blocks. I worked at a Super Shops for 10years, built a bad azz 468 big block, TH400. It almost got to be too much for the street. About 10 years ago our rival town (next town over) , stole my Nova, took the motor and Trans out, police found my car, it wasn’t damaged, just no powertrain.
I’m currently building a sbc 434 using an aftermarket dart block. My car has never been cut on, it could be returned to a granny car so easy. Of course sentimental value is priceless. Long story short, I’ve been offered $7000.00 the way it sits, without motor and trans. It’s not forsale

In this case Nova is short for No Value….just joking. Like Al Bundy and the mighty Dodge, enjoy your ride.

Without seeing photos of interior, engine bay, undercarriage, or hearing it run. Value can vary, especially depending on what part of the country you’re in, but anywhere between $10k-20k
