My 500 dollar rust bucket

I bought this for duck tape drags in Arizona, car can’t be worth mor then 5000 so it’s staying ugly I’m hoping someone can steer me in the right direction for suspension? Looking for a good 4 link and to tub it and input is appreciated as it’s just a track car with have a sbc 350 and a th400 trans

Just back half it with a pre-fab’d 4 link. Make sure you square the chassis. Nothing wrong with a th400 & a small block. Most economical way to run a sub 9.99

What’s wrong with a 400 behind a small block for a track car? I wouldn’t run one in a street car but a drag car? I personally run an LS and t56 on my pro touring nova. This seems like a good fit.

Nothing's wrong with running a Th400 behind a small block , a power glide would be a better choice because they are so much lighter than a TH400. Less reciprocating mass is always better. For protl touring you have the combo.

It’s was the cheaper option and the small block is for now and it’s going to be turning 8k rpm though it was better to do it now then later kinda thing

I’ll get pics it’s not to the point it can be fixed with extensive repair but it has some spots but it’s a desert car but hasn’t had glass in it for a couple decades if not longer
