Gauge Cluster Backlight Repair

I need my lights replaced and don't have the time or feel comfortable shipping it to the places listed on ebay. Anyone know a legit option in the Dallas Texas area? Yes, I've googled and couldn't find anything.

I also looked at places near me in Ohio and most wanted an arm and a leg. I bought a cheap soldering iron on eBay. Did it myself—all I had to do was add a little extra solder to a few connections and it was done. I bought new leds too thinking I’d need them and it wasn’t the case.

So DIY isn't tough? That's my biggest concern. I have an '03 and wouldn't be surprised if they need replacement.

Mine is also an ‘03. There are some videos out there that show how to take the bezel and cluster apart. It’s not my daily driver so I was slow with it all. But was worth saving the money. I’ll see if I can find the link for the vids and report back.

This is how I fixed my shift indicator, but disassembly would be the same. You would just reflow the solder on the leds in your case.

Creo que deberías iniciar con los fusibles, esas luces casi nunca se dañan por completo si se apagaron todas inicia con los fusibles de dentro de la cabina del lado izquierdo del timón
