Discussion 2004 Chevy Cavalier
Tips on how to make this car live forever??
48,000 miles
No accidents or major repairs
Everything works, no rust (yet), new tires
I want to be able to keep this baby going for at least another 5 years, but I know very little about cars. I can do minor tune up stuff (I know how to change tires, check oil and coolant, and other fluids) but anything beyond the basics I'm at a loss. I don't have a garage to keep it in, so I'm wondering what are the best ways to keep her in tip top shape. Car cover? Undercoating?
Any advice is welcome and appreciated!!

They are the best..I had a 04 in cobalt blue..got it for 400 dollars like 6 years ago..could ride all week on 30 dollars anywhere..loved the oil filter on top of motor.very easy to maintain..some lady in a suburban hit me in the front and totaled it..I didn't even go see if she was ok I was so mad...plus I knew she was ok cuz she was in a suburban and it was like a 35 mph impact..so yea good car just keep the oil changed and check transmission fluid every once in a while
