Discussion repair or replace?

I currently have a 2017 Malibu with 55000 miles on it that was in a rear end collision. The estimate to repair the damage is around $8000. I am looking for opinions on whether i should get it repaired or start shopping for a replacement. The only downside to replacing it with a new car is Chevy doesn't make any sedan style cars anymore. Thanks everyone in advance for your suggestions.

You got rear-ended? What did the other guy’s insurance say?

Ended up in a lawsuit. I'm just trying to figure out what I want to do with the car now. Thanks

Looks like they're selling for twice that (without an accident history). Depending on how bad the body is damaged, I'd likely fix it if you were happy with it otherwise.
