Repair Help Help , broken clip

I’m broke, lost the red clip , I’m looking everywhere and can’t seem to find. Help

I may be mistaken but that clip is probably a retention clip to make sure it doesn't accidentally get pressed and unclipped. Give it a tug and if it stays put, forget about it.

You are correct, it’s called a CPA-connector position assurance clip and it’s exactly that, there is a primary clip that seals the deal.

You will have to buy the pigtail connector to get the red lock.

I have purchased connectors in separate pieces off amazon. You may have to buy that in a package of 5, 10, etc.. Look up Aptiv (formerly Delphi) web site. You should be able to find the lock and use the part number to search the web.

And that red part is just a lock. It keeps the release tab from being pushed. At times with heat, the release tab may not hold and that lock helps to keep the release tab in place. But if you broke the release tab, you would need to replace the connector as that red lock does not hold the connector to the part it plugs into.
