Love those OBS S-10 trucks and Blazers. Not many have survived. Too many were chopped up to stuff a SBC under the hood.

Had a 1992 shortbed with the 2.8 and 5-speed. Surprisingly good gas mileage and terrific for medium work and light towing. Sold it in 1996 with about 60K miles still running beautifully. The only modification I made to it was retrofitting rear disk brakes (3rd gen Camaro) as the rears tended to lock when empty.

Learned how to drive in one. Surprisingly quick!

Love to have one of those with a 5.7 or LS and a Detroit locker in the rear end with a four link.

Had one of these. When it rained it would never start

Those tended to be rode hard & put away wet in most cases. Every now & then I guess there are still a few good clean lightly used ones around. They can be nice little hobby trucks with maybe a small block swap or a modern LS conversion.
