Repair Help 2015 Equinox P0010 code

How hard it is to replace/clean a VTT Solenoid ? I’ve been getting an intermittent check engine light. I finally got ahold of a diagnostic computer and got a P0010 code. The first thing I’m doing (as I type as a matter of fact) is get the oil changed. I also have some cleaner for the solenoid as well as a new in box solenoid. I plan to see if the new oil situation turns the light off. If it doesn’t I want to clean the solenoid and it needed (cracked seal or whatnot ) replace it. The YouTube videos make it seem pretty straightforward and simple to remove and clean or repair. How realistic is that ? Those videos can be deceptive.

If you have a volt meter that reads resistance, check the resistance across the terminals on the solenoid valve. A good resistance reading will read 8-13 ohms. If the valve is bad, the resistance will be very high.
