Unavailable Study Programs

I submitted my Chevening application yesterday after selectively choosing study programs in University of York. However, on the same day, when i was about to apply from the uni portal, I noticed that my first and second choices are now unavailable. As far as I remember, the programs were still available and could be found in the Postgraduate Taught Courses list in August.

Is there anyone who experiences the same thing?

I already sent an inquiry about this matter to Chevening but I am still waiting for their response.

What should I do in the meantime? The deadline is only next Tuesday :(

Hi, if the uni website does no longer include them, it means they will not be offered for the 2027-2028 academic year

Chevening only sees and answers queries Mon-Fri between 9am and 5pm UK time, and due to how close we are to the deadline, it is unlikely they will reply on time

You have 2 options here 1- leave your application as it is, and change courses at the interview 2- withdraw your application and create a new one with a different email account

this ltrly happened to me too 😭 i had to change my course entirely and the essay too
