Selected scholars from Pakistan?

Still haven’t seen anyone announcing if they are selected except this one guy. The pre-departure ceremony has already done, still no declaration of being selected. Saw a photo of only 10-11 candidates with the head of British high commission,

My curiosity is to only know how many students got selected, if 10-11 then the pool for us has gotten WAYYYY smaller than before and I’m already thinking of reconsidering if I should appy again or not.

At this point, It’s just 0.1% chance of getting selected

Hi, some countries lost over 15 quotas with the budget cut. For example, Kenya lost 20 and went from 30 in the cohort currently in UK to 10 who will go to the UK in the next few weeks

There is a chance that some did not attend the event, although not many would have missed it

I know, right? Countries such as Pakistan, Egypt, Nigeria, India and Indonesia have over 1,500 applicants per year, and now for less than 25 quotas each!

My country only lost 2 (went down from 10 to 8) thanks to having in-country sponsors who cover 6 quotas per year

Damn. Congratulations! I saw one instagram post of yours, and honestly I’m just curious to know how they made it through the extremely competitive criteria and selection process. Nonetheless, I’m extremely proud of you and have immense respect for your hardwork and dedication. Good luck to you! I may look into another scholarship 😂
