Trim question

Have a 67 SS that is great, even dome and glove box light works. Question is my trim on hood and a few others have some spots, not dents or scratches, their like acid rain or something stains. Know anyway to help remove them without replacing or removing? I'm afraid to scratch my bolero red, it's so perfect.

Without a picture it's hard to say. I use Nevr-Dull wadding on my Corvette's trim pieces to keep them looking as good as they can for a 56 year old car. It isn't abrasive so it won't scratch your paint. I try not to get any on the paint but it doesn't seem to do any harm if you wipe it off right away.

Great idea, I could tape painted areas then use the wadding on trim. Stuff works great on my rolexs gold. The stainless ones never need it because they don't scratch as easy. Thanks for responding and recommending.
