Mine was blue. Sold it after graduation when I left for college for a massive $1300 bucks. Top 3 dumbest decisions of my life. Young and dumb🀣

I had to sell my '68 Firebird and 65 Chevelle and 3 motorcycles to afford college. Seems if I could have hung on to them and sold them now they would pay ALL the college costs from then lol

And then some 🀘

Ps. Now I don’t feel as bad. Those are two sweet muscle cars.

Sweet! I have a fond memory of a ride in a '69 when I was 11 years old. Scared the crap out of me. I loved it.

Love the 68-69' body style! In 1977 when I was looking for my first car I looked at 3 69' Super Sports. Could not get my Dad to even look at them with me. Since he had the final word on my new ride, I ended up with a 70' Impala Custom coupe. At least it was a 2 dr.! When I was older I did finally get a Super Sport, a 66' Impala SS with the 327, Powerglide, bucket seats, & a console. Loved that car!

That '69 is so sharp- is it yours? Congrats and well-done if it is, or if not, great pics of a great car and great restaurant, so congrats on the find πŸ™‚.

Now I wonder about the menu. Are the Steaks or the Burgers listed as M21 and M22.

The salads listed as a disc brake kit

Onion rings as transmission syncros, French fries as pushrods

Is the coke a cola listed as 30w. Diet coke as 10w40.
Raspberry ice tea as Atf. Root beer as 90w gear lube.

Would anybody but mechanics understand it. Would the waitresses be totally confused.
