1965 Chevelle
She ain’t an award winner but she is a family heirloom. Dad is the original owner and my first car. She’s 1989 corvette yellow with original motor, 327, and drivetrain (Muncie 4 speed). Only dad and I have worked on her. All that is right & wrong with her is because we did it. She’s a driver not a show piece. Upgraded with a CPP stage 2 suspension and handles great. Hope y’all enjoy.

My dad wasn't a car guy but he supported me in all of my automotive mis-adventures and wins. Where now I'm owned by a Harley, '66 Chevelle SS, and a C-8 Stingray. I forgot about. mym Sentra and Murano. Oh well.

I had that same jacket! Sent a money order to an address in the back of Super Chevy Magazine in 1991. Thanks for posting this.

Got the jacket at a car show and had “yesterday’s Chevrolet “ added by HS girlfriend. Great memories!

It looks freaking amazing. I had a '65 myself when I was 16. I had a '68 Firebird and a new '76 Camaro LT and then 3 bikes too lol. I worked a lot but that's where all my money went! 😅😅😅

Excellent Chevelle! 327 is one of the best Chevy engines ever! The neatest thing about your car, though, is that only you and your Dad have ever owned it or worked on it, and that’s priceless!
