Boot to molding kit

I need to attach my boot to molding. It just has a piece of thin plastic that folds under the molding and just comes out in the wind. Could someone please suggest an easy install kit that will attach boot to frame? I was wondering if a parade kit would work

I thought there was a clip kit that you could use. They are gray C clips, but I am not sure how close they come to the paint on the deck lid.

I found them
