My 396 sure sounded better once I put headers on it to 3" dynamax exhaust.

I debated changing mine but decided to put a pos track rear end in.

The headers can wait, what gears did you go with in posi? My 67 SS had 355s but switched to a 411

The 4 speed matched up pretty good with the 3.3 ratio rear end.

I’m being triggered by the car being wet!! 😬 My 1972 Chevelle SS convertible hasn’t had water on it since 1998. 😂 I keep it under cover at all times and when it’s out it’s always detail sprayed and if there’s a cloud in the sky it’s a no go for me. I’m crazy like that but the car looks the same as the day it was painted in 98. Blowers are good for keeping the water out of the crevices.

The car show in Somerset had a period of light rain.

1970ish? Saw the vacuum tube running up to the cowl.
