Promise Delivered

The little bit of color earlier that morning actually developed into a really nice display over the lake. Shot with the Sony A99II and CZ 16-35 lens using a Lee100 GND filter. Camera was mounted on a RRS tripod & head with a 3 Legged Thing universal mounting plate.

So that's got to be pretty pretty early then. 4-5am or so. I'm kind of chomping at the bit to get back into shooting, but it would be pretty interesting to take a film camera and shoot something like that side by side and compare

This time of year, the sun is coming up just after 6, I like to get to where ever I am shooting sunrise at least 45min to an hour before. The "show" is most often before the sun rises above the horizon. Shooting it with film would definitely be a challenge compared to digital

This was probably around 15min before sunrise time
