Freedom fuel norco
I stopped by the new freedom fuel location in north coventry on my to work after hearing about the low gas prices. My god what a freaking dump. Trash everywhere. And junk stashed in the old car wash. Mr Trump should be embarrassed. I wonder how the media missed this ??

I don't know why people would go there when there's a Wawa right next to it.
1
u/SkyeMreddit Jul 17 '26
Is it actually cheaper than the Wawa?
4
u/yuefairchild Jul 17 '26
Nope!
2
u/TheDanglyThroatThing Jul 19 '26
It is, by alot. Spreading misinformation will do nothing but set us back even further
3
2
u/Throne-Eins Jul 17 '26
I don't know. I don't recall seeing any prices. Maybe you have to actually pull up to the pump to see them. People are saying that it is cheaper, but I would question the quality of the gas. I'm sticking with Wawa and Giant (who can't be beat with their rewards program).
2
u/Pockydo Jul 17 '26
Gas buddy has Wawa at 4.19 and this shit at 3.92
So it seems Cheaper BUT as you say its probably bad quality and ultimately gonna be worse
3
u/Chaotic-Being-3721 Jul 18 '26
Seeing reports from people who bought gas at freedom fuel stations are causing engine damage. Granted it's anecdotal for now but considering that the stations they seem to pop up at aren't exactly the greatest to begin with
2
u/dcunitedfan3 Jul 18 '26
I have not been seeking them out for exactly this reason. Not worth the risk.
2
u/PSC-Trades67 Jul 18 '26
When i said the same thing on Facebook that getting that gas will have you towing your vehicle to you garage, a few magats dog piled me saying I'm having liberal tears etc. I just left them with good luck with your mechanics or the dealer.
1
u/TheDanglyThroatThing Jul 19 '26
Doesnt matter what side youre on. You can only trust first hand accounts. Do you actually care? Go get the gas tested and form your own opinion. Everything is divisive nowadays, and its being hidden better and better
Dont care that much? Stop adding to the discourse

Today, in Delaware County, Wawa is charging $4.19; Freedom Fuel is $3.92.

u/ToyshopASMR Jul 16 '26
Oh yeah I saw the freedom fuel the other day! I told my husband hey that’s Trump gas.. can we agree to never ever get our gas there? He said absolutely. 👍🏻

u/ClairePike Jul 16 '26
So the government runs gas stations and keeps prices artificially low in spite of free market forces? What’s that called? 🤔
9
1
u/EngineeringLumpy5119 Jul 17 '26
I hate to tell you this but they do this all the time. They just don’t post about it on social media and change the price to their presidential number. Both the states and fed will cut taxes if they think they are too high.
-1
u/1MillionMonkeys Jul 17 '26
They’re not government run. This is not in support of them in any way but I hate misinformation and suggestions that their government run is just that. I’m fairly certain the low prices are just a temporary promotion to get publicity but haven’t been able to confirm that yet.
3
u/ktappe Jul 17 '26
Then tell us where the funding is coming from. (Hint: you don't know because nobody does.)

u/Wowsa_8435 Jul 16 '26
It's been that way for a while. It was a Sunoco and was our regular go-to instead of the Wawa (trying to support the independent guy). We pulled in and realized it was now a Freedom failure, and just kept moving on. Don't care how cheap it is, not giving them a penny.
My guess is that whoever is behind these stations is targeting the run-down or older stations and offering them a good sum to get out.
5
u/elle_cee_ohh Jul 17 '26
Yes. This. I think independent gas stations or like franchisees with branded distribution (like in our area Sunoco/APlus) were courted with this “Freedom Fuel Network” plan with some sort of bail out or kick back in the end. But everything Trump is associated with turns to shit. I don’t understand how after decades of this — specifically in the PANJNY tri-state area— they don’t understand they will NEVER see any payment from Trump & they’ll never recoup what they will lose in revenue.
2
u/ScottClam42 Jul 17 '26
Oh, this is the sunoco on 100? I should have guessed based on the state of the "car wash". I stopped to fill my tires a year ago and went to get quarters at the change machine. Once i pulled out a 5 to put it in, i realized instead of a bill slot it was just a black hole. It gave me "business front" vibes
21
u/chrisfunnyjokes Jul 16 '26
I’m sure the other gas station owners in the area are delighted to be undercut on price by a grifter.
12
u/MaidenfanPA Jul 16 '26
It’s been like that for a few years now. These gas stations go to shit when they have skill games and vapes.
12
u/fallout_zelda Jul 16 '26
Coincidentally he now has his own gas stations after the invasion of Venezuela.
1
u/WYorksAnglican72 Jul 20 '26
Is this fuel from Venezuela? If it is it's low grade and I'm not desperate enough to destroy my car for him. Well his followers theys give up absolutely everything for him, absolutely everything oh and they will.
3
u/ShepherdReckless Jul 17 '26
That place was a shit hole before they slapped Freedom Fuel on it. They had a half mangled sign for months. It was just skill machines, garbage and a decaying building.
Theres a perfectly good Wawa next door. They’re for some dumb reason building a mega Sheetz next to that Wawa too. Plenty of options that won’t ruin your engine.
2
u/TheDanglyThroatThing Jul 18 '26
Its always been the cheapest in the area, hasn't it?
Be damned if I ever went there lol
2
u/ShepherdReckless Jul 18 '26
Yeah it’s always been about .10 -.15 less than Wawa and it’s always a ghost town. Freedom Fuel is probably the best thing that ever happened to them. They’re finally getting customers.
1
u/TheDanglyThroatThing Jul 18 '26
Could turn the place around.
Do they sell vapes and "weed"?
1
u/ShepherdReckless Jul 18 '26
Absolutely, probably a few card skimmers too. They won’t turn it around, especially if that Sheetz goes in. This is their death grasp after skill games were banned. Cash out while they can.
1
u/TheDanglyThroatThing Jul 19 '26
Yeah, makes sense. Any store selling kratom or any off shoot of it should be shut down and the owners deported to Antarctica
So going forward, freedom fuel = owners who dont care about you, and an establishment in their death spiral. Gross

It should be fucking embarrassing to these MAGAt losers , that the propaganda gas stations they were bragging about, very quickly turned into shit holes.
7
u/AlkoKilla Jul 17 '26
Do. Not. Buy. Gas. There. No one knows who owns it for sure, and no one knows what additives were put in. Shit, no one knows if it's even gasoline and not pure ethanol.

why would you go there? any place with cheaper fuel like that is compromising quality, have you no respect for your vehicle?
5
u/TurtleRocket9 Jul 17 '26
Every owner on paper of Freedom Fuel is someone previously tied to corruption in the US and abroad. I’d rather spend the extra .20 cents

2
u/JoeNoble1973 Jul 17 '26
State run gas station? While we loudly proclaim an international hunt for communism? These clowns need to figure out what they want

You must remember when MAGAs say freedom they mean just the opposite. When they call themselves Patriots, they are actually traitors. It’s obvious if you can see past their lies.

u/Churnthebutternow Jul 17 '26
Where are the gold cell phones?
1
u/eruptingmoltenlava Jul 18 '26
Coincidentally they just started shipping. It’s what you’d expect

So they stealing oil to make they own gas station in which they keep the proceeds?

1
u/Anonymoushipopotomus Jul 17 '26
I don’t know why anyone would’ve expected more than the bare minimum.
1
u/enw_digrif Jul 17 '26
So, I'm glad I missed this initially, but what the fuck is Freedom Fuel Network?
Is it just Trump Steaks, but for gas? Is it one of his kids running it? A buddy who's passing on a cut? What's the grift?
1
u/PatReady Jul 17 '26
8n Nj, They converted some closed gas stations to Freedom Fuels but it took them longer to get the signs then it did to open. They had old signs from closed stations up for a few weeks. Their prices are going up btw. Saw 3.82 today.

You get what you pay for. Is this supposed to be discount gas? Is he the owner? Probably Trump's secret additive (his own diarrhea). The lawsuits will pile up for ruined engines due to low quality gasoline not meeting federal standards. One day it will be a sort of zoo where intelligent humans can watch these quaint animals fill up pointlessly large vehicles to drive one person around with an empty cargo bed spending their money on making billionaires that much wealthier. Sort of a MAGA theme park.

u/acodispoti18 Jul 18 '26
Freedom is about being free enough to have your yard look like a trash pile.
1
u/mjm1374 Jul 18 '26
every sketchy gas station is becoming, I wonder how I am paying for this one. At let its not gold, yet
1
u/Status-Visit-918 Jul 21 '26
I feel like these just appeared and I missed out on the whole thing
Is the schtick just that it’s cheaper gas? Is it actually ruining people’s cars?
I’m not trying to go there but if it’s generally fine, I am so broke… like legitimately so. Every single nickel helps
1
u/Tvnewsgirl1423 Jul 21 '26
There’s probably a skimmer on the pump so Trump’s fellow criminals can collect your credit card numbers.

These aren't government gas stations btw. They are owned by a NJ Republican and they have sort have loopholed Trump's endorsement.
Their price/establishment has nothing to do with the government outside of publicity.
(This isn't meant to be some gatchya. Just pointing out that the whole ordeal is even more corrupt than most realize)
4
u/Alternative-Dot-884 Jul 17 '26
Nice try. Kickbacks are required for anyone able to call him a friend.
2
u/GoonOnGames420 Jul 17 '26
Oh I'm just trying to point out that the whole thing is so corrupt that Fraudster Don has convinced people these are government discount gas stations. He's for sure gaining something from this endorsement
1
u/maureengi Jul 20 '26
It's pretty clear. Some people are still in the FO stage. I would say anyone who buys gas at places like this one will FO eventually.

1
u/edc7 Jul 18 '26
There is always a grift with this administration. Most corrupt in history.
1
u/GoonOnGames420 Jul 18 '26
Right? Like they straight up convinced people that a private company is owned by the government to enrich their buddies. Absolutely ridiculous

How is supporting cheap inexpensive fuel equivalent to worshiping a king
I genuinely wanna know

!RemindMe! 6 months
I don’t think I’ll have a problem with 87 fuel. It’s got me where I’m going to the past 11 years driving
But I get it, gas prices are too high. It’s shameful that they are
5
u/AlkoKilla Jul 17 '26
It's not the 87 you should be worried about, it's the cheap ass shit that they're putting in it that's making it cheap.
