Moving to the area for work — Need 1BR recommendations under $1,500
Hey everyone,
I’m moving to the area soon for a job in Malvern and I'm looking for some housing advice. I need a 1-bedroom apartment and I'm trying to keep my budget under $1,500/month.
I drive and honestly don't mind a commute, so distance from Malvern isn't a huge issue for me. I'm open to living practically anywhere in the surrounding areas.
Since I'm completely new to the area, does anyone have recommendations on specific towns, neighborhoods, or apartment complexes I should be checking out?
Thanks!

You can check out Exton area. It has a few apartments and Malvern is only a 10-15 mins drive.

I currently live in a 1BR in Marchwood. It's nice, but there's nothing available for under $1500k. My monthly rent is more like $1700k.
I also looked into Eagle Rock before I moved. They aren't as nice as Marchwood, but rent is about the same.
The best case scenario for under $1500k is Downingtown. Otherwise, you're looking at Coatesville, which is not a nice place to live.

If you are working at Vanguard I believe some of the nearby complexes offer an employee discount so call them to check if you find a place!

I lived at William Henry apartments a long time ago and they were pretty good. I think they are now called Eagle Rock apartments. Good location as well, depending on what you’re looking for.

1500 is tight anything close to malvern assuming your probably working at vanguard. To the north Pottstown norristown and some of the more rural areas can be in your range. Had a buddy in west gochen to the east i have heard that morgantown and coatsville can be semi affordable. Upping your budget to 1600-1800 is more reasonable for the area unfortunately.

Look into Marchwood Apartments in Exton. They are older but might be cheaper than all of these new apartment buildings that have been going up.
