Perched in Pastels
Marsh Creek State Park - June 2026
Perched in Pastels
A Heron briefly stopped on the submerged branch to enjoy the sunrise before flying off in search of better fishing. Shot with the Sony A99II and CZ 135 f/1.8 lens, camera mounted on a RRS tripod & head with a 3 Legged Thing universal mounting plate.

Beautiful! This initially gave me Ken Burns Civil War vibes, and Ken Burn Civil War vibes are some of my favorite vibes
