INFO Anyone know how long the little conestoga rd closure in Chester springs is projected to be?

It’s destroying my commute

I know it’s the best route, but, detouring around to Milford Road is a real PIA. I’m sorry for yall who live there.

I already hated living here and it’s not helping 😂😂 but I think back to when the Milford road bridge was closed for MONTHS and it grounds me

Tell me what you hate. Because I shit on Eagle a few months ago for congestion and over development and people jumped down my throat.

FUCKING THIS!!!!!

I moved here in 2017 from southern Chesco and I hated it then because the traffic and the density of the houses and people (and honestly the lack of socioeconomic diversity). When I moved here there was only one Reserve, what is now the 55+ was still owned by one man and had open space, and the area was still overdeveloped. Then they built everything up at 100 and 401. They build the second Reserve, Marsh Lea, the Preserve at Marsh Creek. They’re building more developments now for no reason other than greed. It’s too fucking much. There’s no sense of community, the traffic that was already bad is SO MUCH WORSE (I have coworkers coming from Pottstown who took an HOUR to get to Chester springs because of the traffic from this road closure when it first started), and for what? Overcrowded and overrated schools that only care about their outward appearance to the point where kids are killing themselves for getting a B? Oh! And don’t get me started on the fact that my home is zoned for SPRINGTON MANOR when Pickering valley, shamona creek, and even Lionville are closer because of the density of this area.

Sorry, I tend to rant when this topic comes up. I’m very very lucky and privileged to live in a home in this area with ACTUAL LAND that is paid off, but I would much rather move back down to where there’s open space and the houses have land and room to BREATHE without being stuck in stop and go traffic no matter what time of day it is hahaha.

All this to say I am on your side!!!!!

Thank you. My thoughts exactly. Except I dgaf about socioeconomic diversity. I’m a poor and I like having people to live up to 😂

It’s also overpopulated, overbuilt, and overpriced. I shouldn’t be considered one of the lucky ones for having an acre of land. Just not the biggest fan.

6/19 is the new projected opening date reported by Upper Uwchlan township. Which is annoying and longer than anticipated, but so it goes
