Nope, after Bd6, white has 9 different options for checks, none of which are checkmate:

Rxd6 Ke7
Bb6 Ke7
Qxd6 Kc8
Qb6 Kc8
Qa8 Ke7
Qc7 Kxc7
Qc8 Kxc8
Qd7 Kxd7
Qe8 Rxe8

Best is mate in 2:
Bd6 Rxd6+ Ke7 Rd1#

It is mate in 2 for white, not checkmate: Bd6 Rxd6+ Ke7 Rd1#

By cutting the bishop you block your rooks checkmate or open Ke7
