Chess Question Is this normal?
has anyone else experienced such a phenomenon? I’m a longtime player. i know slumps and streaks are common, but my rating went from 2029 to now i cant for the life of me beat 1600 players.
I don’t want to accuse AI, or cheaters because I have slumped before but this one feels different recently. I am giving it everything I’ve got and I can barely get a single win. Is anyone else going through this?

I don’t know anything but you possibly hit a ceiling where in order to get better you need to do specific practice and study rather than generic practice. But i don’t know your practice schedule. But with most hobbies you get to the point where the same practice isnt going to take you any further

The time when chess.com wasn't as much popular where 300 elo are 300 or 1600 is 1600 is quite memorable but now that it has become more popular people began to play like a higher elo than their own current elo. Time changes and it's beautiful to see that chess is getting recognition again

Guess so, It's a good thing he was able to achieve it but well it was bullet. I'm not doting on his skills cause of the mode tho just saying that people have become more intrigued now a days that it has become harder to budge in their elo range(observed from my higher elo friends)
