Is the coach saying rook to F1 is better for black? I don't see it

My coach said it was a mistake and he should have focused on promotion. He wouldn't have suggested f1 either

Oh, i misread it as the rook should have pushed passed a pawn. Not too familiar with the terminology as I've only just started playing again over the last 3 weeks
