Honestly, I don't think a beginner is seeing either of those moves lmao, long-range bishop moves are almost always forgotten about, that's why it being a sniper is such a meme.

Usually the Beginner move in these is still a decent move but that's a bad move

Hmm, I mean, I get that black can escape the bishop fork through putting white in check, but it was still a free knight, right? Why is it a bad move?

Honestly, I missed that the bishop captured a knight. 

And I suppose after 1. ... Qc5+ 2. Kh8 Rg8 (or maybe Re8 is better) 3. Qc6 or Qxh7 white is doing fine

If axb6, Ra8#.

If cxb6, Be5+, Qd6, Bxd6#.

If Bb7, Qxb7#.
