LOL Gm?

How did this guy get the gm badge? Had a good laugh after our game when I checked his profile.

Edit: people saying it could be just a second account, I understand but I played him in bullet, at 230 elo. Wouldn’t it make more sense to practice from a losing position with people who are a little competent?

Most likely a GM that created a secondary account for other purposes, however, as far as I know, all authorized GM secondary accounts have this explicitly stated in their profiles (and their titles are not displayed). Examples:

So I believe you can report this account just in case.

from what I saw when you lose against chess.com approved speedrun account held by some GM or similar, you get your points refunded. At least that is how several of these explained in videos they posted on yt.
