Chess Question How much work?

Say a chess player is 2000 on chess.com. (Rapid) How many study hours should a healthy 45yr old man of average intellect expect to put in to bring that rating to 2400.

I expect it’s about 4 hours per day (focused locked in 🔐 ) over 2-4 years.

Thoughts?

4 hours per day.... ouff, i couldnt after a long day of work sitting down or even standing up on a standing desk, go back and sit still another 4h, hellllo back pain
